Tierra Grande is an existing platted and approved subdivision, located in the Rio Grande Valley of central New Mexico. It is 35 miles south of Albuquerque and a few miles south of Belen, New Mexico. The property is composed of over 1,900 lots ranging in size from 5 acres to 40+ acres with the land divided between Valenica and Socorro Counties. The topography within the community is generally flat to rolling valley lands at an elevation of approximately 5,000 feet. The land is situated just east of Interstate 25 and the Rio Grande River and located at the base of the Manzano Mountains that tower over the valley to the east and south of the property.
Tierra Grande is easily accessible from multiple approaches including Interstate 25, New Mexico Highway 47 and U.S. Highway 60 (that goes through the southern portion of the land). All of the roads within the development are recorded roads that provide legal access from the County and State Highways. The development roads are very nice native material roads.
